The Last Thing I Bought (And Why I Don't Regret It)

I don't usually buy into hype. If there's one thing I've learned in my 30s, it's that not everything trending on TikTok deserves a spot on my vanity. I've had my fair share of products that promised glass skin, blurred pores, and all-day hydration—only to end up collecting dust after a week.

So when I saw everyone talking about the Luxe Organix Beauty Mist by Anne Clutz, I did what I always do: scroll past it... several times.

Until one day, when Ate Pauline recommended it, and I gave in.

Not because a beauty blogger/influencer told me to, but because I realized I actually needed something that could freshen up my skin throughout the day. Between working full-time, creating content on the side, squeezing in gym sessions, and trying to look alive after editing until midnight, my face sometimes feels as exhausted as I do.

So yes, I checked out my cart. And surprisingly, I haven't regretted it since!

Did it actually work?

I tested it on a day I knew would be rough — errands in the morning, a long lunch out, then sitting through traffic on the way home with the aircon barely keeping up. Normally that's my makeup's death sentence.

By the time I got home, I checked the damage in the mirror expecting the usual disaster. And... nothing. My T-zone had a little shine, sure, because let's be real, nothing survives Davao humidity untouched, but my makeup hadn't slid off my face. No patchy spots, no cakey buildup. It genuinely looked like it did when I left the house, just slightly more "lived in."

What surprised me more was how my skin felt underneath it all — not tight or dried out the way some setting sprays leave you. I think that's the ingredient they add for hydration doing its job, because normally by hour eight my face feels like it's begging for water.

Is It Worth Buying?

For me, yes. As someone who enjoys watching TikTok reviews for past time, I know it's easy to get influenced into buying the next "must-have" product.

But every now and then, you find something that sticks not because it went viral, but because it genuinely fits your lifestyle.

And I'd say it's worth adding to your bag! 😉
