A taste of ArtisAna

ArtisAna Comfort Gourmet is a restaurant envisioned by Chef Annie Cacho-Garcia where space of "food art" would be celebrated, it is connoted as a living space of art in all aspects, with the restaurant being filled with artworks as you go around the place hanging on the walls whilst having a quick tour perhaps while waiting for your food to be served.

This 1950\"s house was restored into a Modern Filipino theme fine-dining restaurant filled with paintings and sculptures from various artists. Its ambiance boldly states the easy relaxed atmosphere where you can sit and savor the gustatory delight without having to worry about rushing out.

On their second floor has two function rooms that can be used for private parties, meetings, art classes, and even review sessions.

ArtisAna and their hallmark dishes are largely traditional Filipino food that has been altered as they say to create a taste that takes you to another level while still retaining the essential Filipino features of Chef Annie\"s personal recipes.

Here\"s our visit to the restaurant, we tasted and mostly appreciated the following dishes:

Keso de Bolla Cheese Cake - it\"s their best seller baked cheesecake with grated queso de bola.

Chipirones Adobo en Su Tinta - uses the ink mixed into a homemade adobo sauce.

Paella Mariano -  is an heirloom signature dish passed down from the Cacho side and named after Chef Annie\"s father. This is the localized Spanish mixed rice paella using the Ilocano Bagnet as the topping.

Duck Adobado - is shredded crispy duck meat cooked in a homemade adobo sauce.

KBL (Kadios, Baboy, Langka) - salutes the famous Ilonggo delicacy with slowly simmered Lechon and port meat.

Salad Artisana - is a gourmet salad mixed of Pinoy style Kangkong (watercress) and camote tops with lettuce, seedless grapes, and Malagos Chevre Cheese topped with mangosteen pineapple dressing.
